Rules

At MageCraft, we strive to create a friendly and safe environment for all players. To achieve and maintain this, we have established some rules for our Minecraft server and Discord community. Please read these rules carefully before joining our server or participating in our Discord community.

Chat Rules (Minecraft & Discord)

1. Threatening the server with a Cyber Attack, DDOS, or any other attack towards the server will result in a punishment, joking or not. This also includes attacks towards players, like chunk-banning.
2. Swearing is not allowed in our chats, we want to keep our chats clean.
3. Like swearing, spamming is also not allowed. This includes repeating the same/similar messages multiple times, but also needlessly repeating a lot of letters.
4. Advertising is prohibited in all of our chats. This includes things like Youtube or other platform channels, Discord servers or Minecraft servers.
5. Inappropriate behavior is strictly forbidden on our server. If it regards adult content, for instance sexual content, drugs/alcohol/tobacco, more severe punishments can be enforced.
6. Discriminatory or other extremely offensive comments are not allowed, and will be punished severely. This regards race, sexuality, diseases, etc.
7. Using an inappropriate skin or name on our server is prohibited, and you will be asked to change them. To avoid confusion, this includes naming yourself something similar to the names staff members use. Not complying with this will result in a ban, which will be lifted if you prove that you changed your name/skin in a ticket in our Discord. 
8. Nagging at the staff team will result in punishments. This includes things like asking for items to be spawned in for you without reason, repeatedly asking to get other players unbanned, repeatedly pinging staff in the discord server, creating/sending fake reports or evidence, or lying to staff.
9. Selling minecraft accounts will instantly result in a permanent ban.
10. Doxxing players will, joking or not, be punished severely.

Server Rules

1. Using hacked clients or illegal mods will result in punishments. This includes things like X-Ray, Aimbot, Killaura, and other clients/mods that would give a player an unfair advantage. On our server, that also means mods like Freecam are not allowed, unless “Block Collisions” are turned on in the settings. EasyPlace options in mods like Litematica are also not allowed. Minimap mods are allowed.
2. Creating inappropriate edifices and renaming items inappropriately is not allowed. This regards for instance sexual content, drugs/alcohol/tobacco. Inappropriate text on signs will also be punished.
3. Bypassing the AFK-Kick is prohibited.
4. Making lag machines is not allowed, and they will get removed. This includes Redstone Clocks, Redstone machines with a lot of moving parts, but also large animal farms, etc.
5. Taking advantage of a server bug/glitch is not allowed.
6. Avoiding a ban or mute with a different account or IP will result in an extended ban or mute on both accounts.
7. Griefing or trapping your own teammates is strictly forbidden. On our server this includes building near a teammates base/buildings without their permission.
8. Selling in-game things for real money is not allowed. 
9. Scamming in any way is not allowed. 
10. Stats boosting is prohibited. Our server has a system with levels and rewards, and boosting your level through any means would give a player an advantage over others. Stats boosting will result in a stats-wipe.

If you do break our rules and get banned for 30+ days, your rank and whitelist will be forfeited.

If you happen to see or read someone breaking the rules and there happens to not be any staff online to help, you can help us! Try to get as much evidence as you can, and post those in a ticket in our Discord.
